Indoor Environment
Our building has elevated ceilings, natural lighting, fans and air conditioning for the children’s comfort. It is painted in neutral colours so the children can add colour to their own rooms with their art creations.
There is a bathroom within easy access for each room and are accessible from inside and outside for the children.
The building has vinyl floors, with carpet mats for specific areas. Acoustic tiles have been installed to reduce the noise factor and the operable wall between the 2 rooms is sound absorbing.
Each child has their own locker space for them to place their bag, hat, shoes and completed craft.
Outdoor Environment
Castle Hill Pre-School Kindergarten has a private large green space behind high fencing with mature trees and hedges. The outdoor environment is divided into several areas for the children to experiment, discover, explore, create, investigate, solve problems and gain a knowledge of environmental awareness and sustainable practices.
